Classification of production quality in injection moulding with an embedded diagnostic system using a fuzzy inference system

Abstract
The construction of a fuzzy inference system for calculation of the production quality within injection moulding processes is described in this contribution. The aim of this work is to get an automatic decision for the quality of the production cycle. For the measurement pressure sensors are used within the cavity of the moulding tool. The sensor signals were sampled and analysed by an embedded diagnostic system that was integrated into the injection moulding tool.
